Traveling to New England Meetings, learning and sharing about how we are connected

This message was shared among New England Friends recently:

Kathleen Wooten, outgoing Events Coordinator for New England Yearly Meeting, recently participated in the Duke Divinity Foundations of Christian Leadership program.  As part of that work, she and New England Friends received a $5000 grant to support development of a new communications plan supporting Friends in New England.

In addition, this grant provides the opportunity for Kathleen to visit meetings in New England in the fall of 2017, to learn directly from meetings their challenges and successes in the area of connecting with meeting members and their wider communities.

Would your meeting like a visit?  If you would like to invite Kathleen to spend some time in conversation about how we connect the Quaker movement to each other and the wider world, and what resources your meeting might need, please email Kathleen.
